Like every good modern love story, ours started with a swipe — thanks, Bumble! Our first date was a cozy breakfast at Les Crêpes, followed by strolling through a classic car show. Tori was lucky Drew agreed to the breakfast date when he’s not a morning person. Yet, Drew was glad he put on some clothes instead of hitting the snooze button. Between good food, laughter, and vintage cars, we both had that feeling: this could be something special.

It didn’t take long before we fell — hard. About two months later, Tori caught herself blurting out “I love Drew”… to her cats. (They approved.)

Fast forward a couple years for Tori’s birthday: Drew planned a trip to Mexico that turned out to be unforgettable — for more reasons than one. Little did Tori know, Drew had been carrying an engagement ring the entire trip — through wandering jungles, swimming in caves, snorkeling with sea turtles, and romantic beach walks. The best (and funniest) part? He didn’t have insurance on the ring the whole time. Yep, one wrong step and splash — no more ring. (Don’t worry, he held onto it like a pro.)

On the very last day, while we were alone on a private stretch of beach, Drew did something he almost never does — he asked to take a photo together. Mid-“photo session,” he pulled out the ring (still uninsured, still perfect) and asked Tori to marry him. Spoiler alert: she said yes.

Drew loves Tori’s caring heart, her brutal honesty (even when he’s not ready for it), and how easily she fits in with his wild and wonderful family. Tori loves Drew’s endless patience, the way he looks at her like she’s his whole world, and how dreaming about the future with him feels as easy as breathing.

Now, after everything — cats, caves, car shows, and a little bit of chaos — we’re so excited to start forever together.
