We loved having a wedding destination, so we decided to gather our families and friends in Brazil for a bigger celebration. It will be a great way to get to know a little bit about Vick's culture. We can't wait to share this day with you all!

Q + A

Do Americans need a Visa to visit Brazil?

It is uncertain at this point because the government has postponed the new visa requirements a couple of times, so checking it before buying the ticket is important. If a visa is required, it will be an online process, and it is supposed to be easy, so just plan to obtain your visa and avoid delays in the process if necessary. More information is found here: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/ Any questions related to this process, please contact Vick at (312) 479- 0255.

When should we plan to arrive in Brazil?

We recommend arriving at least one day before 06/06 to avoid jet lag and account for flight delays, etc.

What is the Brazil time zone?

The Wedding is going to take place in the State of Sao Paulo, which in June is 2 hours ahead of Central Time.

What is the dress code?

The Dress Code is "Formal". Women: Dresses are encouraged, but please if possible avoid Black, Green, and White dresses. These colors are designated for the Wedding Party. Men: Suits are encouraged, but tie is optional.

Will there be any formal rehearsal dinner or post wedding reception?

We will not have a formal rehearsal dinner, but we will plan for a gathering the day after the wedding with the American Guests.
