How long should we plan our trip for?

We truly appreciate any effort you make to celebrate our wedding weekend, however short or long! We recommend arriving Thursday and staying through Sunday or Monday in order to have extra time to explore more of the city! If you’re like Victoria and always looking to make a vacation out of any opportunity, San Miguel and the rest of Mexico have so many amazing locations that are worth exploring. You can find recommendations in the Explore page (coming soon) or reach out to Victoria.

Are kids invited?

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. So take the night off and come celebrate with us! Victoria can help find trusted babysitters that can come to your hotel if you plan to travel with your kiddos.

Can I bring a plus one?

It was important to us to create an intimate experience with our closest friends and family, therefore we ask guests not bring anyone outside of those listed on their invite.

What kind of weather should I expect in October?

During the day, the temperature is in the mid 70’s and can drop to the low 50's in the evening. All events will be outdoors so be sure to pack light clothes for the day and layers at night. The town's climate is desert-like with warm, dry days and cooler nights. Additionally, please keep in mind that San Miguel is in the mountains and has an altitude of more than 6,000 feet.

Will I need a passport?

All visitors will need a valid passport to enter Mexico that does not expire within 6 months after your travel, so be sure to renew your passport ASAP!

Will there be shuttles to the venues?

All of the hotels we have suggested are within walking distance of the venue so there will be no shuttles. Taxis/ubers are readily available for anyone who booked something further out from venues.

What is the dress code?

Black Tie optional

Is San Miguel De Allende safe?

San Miguel is an incredibly safe part of Mexico, even when walking around at night. A large number of American and Canadian expats live in SMA, and the city thrives on tourism as its primary industry -- making it a very safe place to visit.
