Zachary and Violet’s story started thanks to a little matchmaking from their mutual friend, Jackson Moffitt, who thought it only fitting to introduce the two tallest people he knew.

During the COVID shutdown, Zach and Violet made the most of their time together—shooting hoops in the backyard, swimming, and binge-watching their favorite shows. They attended youth group together, encouraging each other in their walk with Christ while building a strong foundation for their relationship.

God had other plans, and Zach found himself back at Violet’s house to face off with her younger brother, Jonah, in a basketball game. The rest, as they say, is history. On December 18, 2024, under the glow of Christmas lights, Zach proposed to Violet with a photo book capturing their journey together—a story of faith, hope, and love that led to forever.
