Kualoa Ranch is on the east side of the island in Kailua. This is where Jurassic Park and many other movies were filmed. They offer many tours, horseback riding, atv's and much more! I recommend visiting Kailua because it is a very lush and green side of the island.

Waimea Valley, located on the north shore, is a beautiful place to visit and is an easy stroll through the valley. There is a cost for admission, but you get a look into the life of ancient Hawaiians and see a beautiful waterfall at the end!

Polynesian Culture Center

If you are interested in learning more about Polynesian culture, the PCC is a common place for tourists to visit. They host luau's and teach about ancient Hawaiian life. Before coming to Hawaii, it is important to know a little bit about the history and come respectfully. That means taking care of the land, getting to know the local people and treating it as you would treat your own home.
