In the summer of 2018, Grant and Virginia were added to the Morrisville State College Freshman/Transfer Facebook Group. The purpose of the group was to have the in coming students become friends prior to arriving to school. Grant and Virginia became friends on social media for a few months and became close friends on campus. Grant and Virginia remained close friends as the semesters came and gone.

Virginia graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and Grant graduated with his Associated Degree in Diesel Mechanics in 2020. Grant returned home to Long Island and Virginia returned to Dutchess County. As they were apart they still maintained their friendship.

Then everything changed in December of 2021 when Grant invited Virginia to a retirement dinner as his date. Virginia accepted and then multiple dates followed.

On January 9th of 2022, Grant finally asked Virginia to be his girlfriend after watching Professional Bull Riding at Madison Square Garden.

Virginia and Grant lived apart while starting their careers. Virginia was the Town of North East Court Clerk and Grant was a Fleet Mechanic for Giannini Landscaping.

In 2023 and 2024 they progressed in their careers. Virginia was accepted into the New York State Police academy, completed the academy, and became a New York State Trooper. Grant was promoted to Sales Manager of then Holiday Lighting by Giannini to now Thunder Lighting Supply.

Now we have reached 2025, Virginia and Grant then progressed in their relationship. In May, they moved in together in Westchester County, NY and in June, Grant proposed to Virginia.

Grant proposed on their Alaskan cruise. The last stop was in British Columbia, Victoria Canada. Grant got down on one knee at Holland Point Park by the water. He proposed with Virginias Grandmothers engagement ring on her grandparents wedding anniversary (06/28). The moment could not have been more special.

Virginia and Grant cant wait to celebrate their wedding day with you in 2026!
