Yes! Guests can park for free at the reception and the ceremony.

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the apple orchard of Murphy’s Glen Family Farm. The cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will take place indoors at Heritage Barn. Guests will walk to the orchard on dirt pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Listed in the Travel section of the website are the hotels with room blocks. Please book as soon as possible due to multiple events are occurring in this area during the weekend of the wedding. Use the code "Virginia and Grant" while booking to receive our reduced rate. If you are looking to only stay one night instead of the weekend, please call the hotel to keep the discounted rate with our code "Virginia and Grant".

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.

Syracuse Hancock International Airport is the closest airport. There are taxi, Uber, Lyft, public transit or ride share in that area. There is also Hamilton Municipal Airport.

Our dress code is formal. We ask that you wear a suit and tie. Alternatively, an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress would be appropriate.

The weather in Hamilton NY in September is mildly cool and humid but cool, with average highs of 73°F and lows of 52°F.

We'll be serving Rays Brother BBQ. It will be served at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with buffet side dishes. There will be a meat and gluten-free/vegan options available.

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.
