Santa Rita Park is so beautiful and relaxing! A great way to kill time with kids playing in the park while you enjoy the relaxing sounds of the Animas River flowing right there next to you. You can also visit the historic retired train right onsite. You can read fun facts and just to give you a peace of mind, there's a facility that has clean restrooms (with toilet paper). Let the kids roam around, or you can have a nice swing or stroll in the park with nature all around you.
If you happen to turn our wedding weekend into a family's getaway, Lake Night Horse is the best place to bring your water toys or go fishing! There is also a boating ramp for easy access in and out of the water.

Interested in wild life and how Colorado up keeps its fish? Visit the Hatchery, you can feed the fish, read fun facts, do some engaged learning and feel real coats of wild life. It's a great opportunity to expose kids to the beauty of wildlife while also learning about gaming and fish!
