We’ve received a few questions about what to wear for our Hawaiian/beach casual-themed reception, so we’ve put together some ideas to help. For any other details about the event, please check the other tabs on our website. You can find plenty of great outfit ideas online, and hopefully, you won’t need to buy a whole new wardrobe. Our wedding reception is designed to be laid back, fun, and relaxing—so don’t stress too much about what to wear! But if you prefer to dress up a bit more, feel free! Here are some outfit ideas for both men and women. Remember, New England weather can be unpredictable, and it may get cooler later in the day, so we recommend bringing a jacket or even a change of clothes. For the Chicos: Tops: Hawaiian floral button-downs, casual long-sleeve or short-sleeve cotton linen shirts, or any beach-style tops. Bottoms: Khaki pants/shorts, loose-fit linen styles, or any beach casual shorts/pants. Footwear: Sandals, loafers, derby shoes, or boat shoes. Or go shoeless if that’s your style! For the Chicas: Dresses/Outfits: Hawaiian floral dresses (long or short) or any beach-style attire. Footwear: Flats or sandals are ideal! We recommend avoiding high heels since the event is outdoors, and there will be grass under the tents and in other areas.
