Dyan and I met on Siargao Island, one of the thousands of islands in the Philippines (7,641 to be exact). It's hard to describe this place to those who haven't traveled across the world, but it is truly one of the most beautiful islands I've ever seen. More importantly, it's where I found the love of my life.

From the moment I met Dyan, I knew there was something special about her. My friends thought I was crazy (and maybe they still do) when I mentioned wanting to marry her just a few days after meeting. But sure enough, she felt the same way, so a year and four months later, we got married on June 28, 2024.

Some background to the Philippines, it’s truly my home away from home. The 24 hour flight does suck at times but it is well worth it. Everyone there is so welcoming and just happy even if they have very little. Makes you appreciate the little things and think twice on what we really have in the US.

I couldn’t be happier to have Dyan here with me in the US and for her to meet friends and family closest to me. Really appreciate everyone making her feel at home! :)
