Arissa Carpenter - Maid of Honor
Jolie and Arissa are best friends, they met initially on a youth club volleyball team but didn't become friends until their freshman year of high school and quickly bonded over volleyball, track, and a shared love for church and Bible studies. They took nearly every class together, creating countless memories along the way. They have supported each other through thick and thin, building a strong friendship centered on Christ.
Olivia Penticuff - Bridesmaid
Jolie and Olivia first crossed paths at a college ministry retreat for The Vine. They became friends as they engaged in deep conversations about life, faith and theology. For the next few years, these two made it a weekly tradition to grab coffee and share their hearts—laughing, learning, and praying together.
Claire Hill - Bridesmaid
Jolie and Claire met in college through a campus ministry called The Claw. Their friendship took off when they joined a book study group, sparking countless deep discussions. They even became roommates for a semester. From attending The Vine and The Vision to hosting their own book study, working out, and encouraging each other at church and community group, these two have truly done it all together. Their bond is a blend of faith, fun, and friendship!
Kirklyn Kasischke - Bridesmaid
Jolie and Kirklyn connected with each other through The Vision ministry. Their friendship stemmed from a small group session and led to years of bonding over coffee and diving into discipleship together. As they grew in faith, they also grew closer as friends and got to be roommates. They bonded over a wild housing adventure and many discipleship conversations.
Lexie Smith - Bridesmaid
Jolie and Lexie are cousins who have always been close - they spent summers together, filling their days with silly crafts, goofy dances, and endless laughter. Now, they love to bond over their shared faith in Jesus, catching up on life and everything under the sun.
Kierra Hipple - Bridesmaid
Jolie and Kierra are step-sisters who became close freinds the moment that their parents started dating. Their bond has been built from playing volleyball, traveling together and simply hanging out and playing Kanasta at home. Since middle school, they’ve been supporting one another through all the highs, lows, and major life events.
Dillan Laaker - Best Man
Dillan is Wesley's older brother. Dillan has always been a role model to Wesley, helping to encourage and offer advice throughout every stage of life. Dillan now lives in Peoria with his wife Annalise and two dogs. Despite the distance, Wesley enjoys every moment he is able to spend with his brother whether it involves playing catch, video games, or just talking on the phone.
Jaden McClellan - Groomsman
Jaden is Jolie’s younger brother. Wesley and Jaden met in 2020 after Jolie and Wesley started dating. Despite Jaden's vast knowledge of car mechanics and Wesley's lack of mechanical knowledge, the two bond over looking at cars and making fun of Jolie together.
Adam Stilts - Groomsman
Wesley and Adam met early on in middle school. Wesley acted as Adam's shadow on the baseball field and followed him everywhere he went. Despite annoying him during this period, the two became great friends in high school and have remained extremely close since.
Caleb Noble - Groomsman
Caleb and Wesley have been longtime friends. They attended the same schools from K-12 and played on the same baseball teams throughout. Despite living in different states now, the two have stayed in touch as important individuals in each other's lives.
Jared Gay - Groomsman
Jared is Wesley's friend, roommate, and teammate from college. Jared is originally from Piedmont, Oklahoma. The two have been roommates for four out of five years in school and have had nearly identical schedules every semester. While slowly becoming attached at the hip, the two enjoy gaming together and running a team Bible study.
Zach Ericsson - Groomsman
Zach is Wesley's friend and teammate from college. These two have been teammates for multiple seasons, sharing the highs and lows of their sports journey together. They’re also part of the same Bible study group and attend church together, deepening their friendship in faith. On top of that, they love hanging out to cheer on the Chiefs, making every game day a special occasion filled with fun and camaraderie!
