Goa is a tropical paradise on the western coast of India that beckons with its sun-kissed beaches, vibrant culture, and rich history. Goa offers a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. The pristine beaches draw sun-seekers and water enthusiasts alike, while the bustling markets and vibrant nightlife add an energetic charm to the evenings. You can also explore the colonial-era churches and forts that narrate tales of Goa's intriguing past, and indulge in the flavours of Goan cuisine, a delightful fusion of Indian and Portuguese influences.
In North Goa, vibrant beaches like Calangute and Anjuna create a lively atmosphere, complemented by bustling markets, vibrant nightlife, and a range of water activities. On the other hand, South Goa presents a more serene and laid-back ambiance, with pristine beaches like Palolem, Benaulim and Cavelossim inviting relaxation amidst quieter surroundings.
We will be getting married in Cavelossim, which is a charming coastal gem nestled along the pristine shores of South Goa, India. Cavelossim is renowned for its picturesque beaches adorned with golden sands and swaying palm trees. The Sal River gently meanders through the village, adding to the scenic allure. Beyond the beaches, Cavelossim has vibrant markets where you can indulge in delectable seafood at beachside shacks, and immerse yourself in the warm hospitality of the locals.
By Air:
Goa has two main airports: Dabolim Airport (GOI) in the south, which is approximately 1 hour away from Cavelossim; and Manohar International Airport (GOX) in the north, which is about 1.5 hours away from Cavelossim. From the airport, you can hire pre-paid taxis or use private transportation services to reach the destination.
If you're travelling internationally, it is often cheaper to fly to Mumbai, Delhi or any other major city and then get a domestic flight into Goa.
By Rail:
The nearest railway station is Margao Railway Station, located approximately 18 kilometers away from Cavelossim. Margao is well-connected to major cities in India, and from the railway station, visitors can hire taxis or use other local transportation options to reach Cavelossim.
By Road:
Cavelossim is well-connected by a network of roads, making it accessible by bus, car, or taxi.

Within Goa, renting a car/scooter or hiring a taxi provides a comfortable and flexible option for travel.
A location and budget friendly option is Mobor Beach Resort. This is going to be the venue for the Haldi/Mehendi ceremony, and is very close to the other wedding venues as well. It is also just a short walk to the beach!
