Our story began in the most ordinary of places – Mrs. Wheeler's 7th-grade math class. Fate had its way of bringing us together when I missed a few days of school. Little did I know that those missed days would be the start of a beautiful journey. Seeking help to catch up, I turned to Will, who kindly assisted me in understanding the lessons I had missed.

As the school year unfolded, our conversations evolved beyond math problems. We shared laughs and countless moments that created our friendship. It wasn't long before Will officially asked me to be his girlfriend on March 28, 2013, marking the beginning of a love story that has stood the test of time.

High school brought physical distance between us as we attended different high schools: I was at Stratford High School and Will at Memorial High School. Despite the different schools, our connection remained strong, and we had a surprise waiting for us at Texas A&M. In a twist of fate, our freshman year dorm rooms were right next to each other, bringing us closer than ever.

For nearly 12 years, Will has been my confidant, my partner in crime, and my best friend. From the awkward moves of our first dance at the 8th-grade dance to the moves at our college formals, he has been the constant presence in my life, the one I can always count on.

In 2020, we went to Los Angeles for our senior year spring break. Little did I know that the City of Angels would become the backdrop for a pivotal moment in our journey. Fast forward to October 6, 2023, a date etched in my heart. Celebrating my birthday in style, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at La Dolce Vita, reminiscing about the memories we've created together.

The night took an unexpected turn when we arrived at the Peninsula Hotel. As we went up to the rooftop restaurant, I was met with the breathtaking sight of a beautifully decorated cabana—flowers, candles, and a stunning picture of us, frozen in a moment of pure joy. It was in that enchanting ambiance that I felt it, the certainty that I was about to embark on a new chapter—spending the rest of my life with the best man in the whole world.

Our journey from that 7th-grade math class to the rooftop of the Peninsula Hotel has been nothing short of amazing. As we continue to write our story, I am grateful for the ordinary moments that led to an extraordinary love, and I look forward to a lifetime of adventures with my forever date, Will
