The Houston Museum of Natural Science is a natural history museum located on the northern border of Hermann Park in Houston, Texas. The Museum of Natural Science has five floors of permanent exhibits, spanning astronomy, space science, Native American culture, energy, paleontology, chemistry, geology, seashells and Texas wildlife, alongside rotating special exhibitions.

The Houston Zoo is a 55-acre zoological park located within Hermann Park in Houston, Texas, United States. The zoo houses over 6,000 animals from more than 900 species.

Located in the heart of Houstons Museum District, the MFAH is a dynamic cultural complex comprising three gallery buildings, a sculpture garden, visitors center, gift shop, library, restaurants, two art schools, two movie theaters, and two house museums.

One of Will and Madeline’s favorite places to walk. This 3 mile loop (partly shaded) is great and you are guaranteed to see someone else you know on the trail!

This is also a frequent spot—right after your walk around the park you stop here for a drink! Had great TVs and a great patio area. Dog friendly!
