What’s the dress code?
For the ceremony, dress to impress - suits, bowties, dresses, jumpsuits, and fascinators are all encouraged, though it’s not black tie. The theme will be colourful so don’t be shy! (Please avoid white…)
For the evening, we invite you to get unhinged. Festival attire, fancy dress… If you want to don your best chicken costume, that’s fair game. We’ll have some accessories on standby if you don’t fancy a full outfit change.
If you’re thinking of wearing high heels, we recommend avoiding stilettos! The wooden floor has small gaps in where heels could get caught and the grass may be soft/muddy if it’s been raining.
Wellies, crocs, trainers, or block heels are all welcome. We want you to be comfortable and free to hit up the dance floor.
Can I bring my children?
As much as we love your little ones, this should be a child-free day, and we hope this is an opportunity for parents to let go of their responsibilities for one night. Get your babysitters on standby ASAP.
If you can’t find anyone to take care of the kids or your baby is still breastfeeding, please give us a shout.
What’s the location for the ceremony and reception?
Both the reception and ceremony are at Hadsham Farm Tipi Weddings. The venue is a 20-minute cab journey from Banbury Station. Please book taxis in advance to avoid any delays (there’s a list of local taxi companies below).

From Banbury, head out of town on the Warwick Road towards Warmington/Gaydon. Take the second left after approximately 1 mile, signposted to ‘Horley and Hornton.’
Once in Horley, turn right at the first junction by the village pub (Red Lion) and follow the road up the hill and out of the village. The working farm is on the left after 1/4 a mile, with the entrance to ‘Hadsham Farm Weddings’ just past the farm buildings on the left. If your sat nav takes you to Horley Business Park, you have gone 1/4 of a mile too far!
Where should we stay?
A few glamping tipis will be available on-site, each has a double bed and space for 2 double airbeds. Some are reserved for the people helping us get the decor set up, so if you’re interested in staying on-site, please drop us a message to check the current availability.
There is also free camping space available if you have your own tent or campervan. You’ll have access to bathrooms and hot showers, but please note there is only electricity at the main tipi and no hookups.
If hotels are more your vibe, these would be our go-to recommendations nearby:
Premier Inn, Banbury
Wroxton House Hotel
Feldon Valley
Winchcome Farm

Accommodation books up early, so please reserve your rooms soon.
What time should I arrive?
Between 11.30 and 12 noon. Please check out the Order of the Day tab for all the important timings :)
Is there parking at the venue?
Yep!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
We’re hoping the British summer is on our side, and plan to have the ceremony out in the sun. The evening party will be held inside the tipi.
There’s plenty of space both inside and outside for you to enjoy throughout the day. Prepare to be outdoors as much as possible until things kick off on the dance floor.
If it rains, the ceremony will be held inside the main tipi.
Please dress and pack accordingly if the weather looks wet! There are wooden floors inside the tipi and leading to the bathrooms, but if you venture anywhere else, there may be mud.
What's on the menu?
Hog roast for the wedding breakfast, followed by a big fat BBQ in the evening. Both meals are casual and buffet style. (Nikki says ‘yes, there will be salads’.) (Will says ‘yes, there will be burgers’.)
All dietary requirements - vegan, halal, coeliac, fruitarian, carbivore - are covered. Please don’t hesitate to let us know any dietary needs when you RSVP.
What's the booze situation?
The venue is BYOB – if there’s something you want to drink, please bring it and be sure to bring mixers. There aren’t any shops within walking distance so please bring enough to see you through until midnight.
We’ll provide wine for the meal, bubbles for the toast, and a tipple for after the ceremony. We’ll also have a small stock of lemons, limes, ice, and mixers for everyone.
There will be fridge space to store your drinks after the meal but if you have a cool box or bag, it may be worth bringing that along, especially if the weather is on our side.
What time does the party finish?
We have to turn off the main sound system at midnight so the party officially ends then.
If people are still in the party mood (whether or not the groom is still awake… IYKYK), we can put some tunes on a smaller speaker and keep things going inside the main tipi.
There are neighbours (and we don’t want to lose our deposit!) so we ask anyone staying later to keep things at a respectful volume.
Can I bring a plus one?
If ya name’s not down, ya not comin’ in.
Can we take photos of the ceremony?
We would prefer for everyone to be present during the ceremony and want photos of your lovely faces instead of your devices. We’ve hired an amazing photographer who will give you the go-ahead when it’s time to take your own pics.
Throughout the rest of the day, take as many snaps as you can!
Can I bring confetti?
The venue has requested we only use biodegradable confetti. We’ll have plenty on standby for you but, if you do have a stash lying around at home, you’re welcome to throw it at us – please just ensure it’s biodegradable first!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
There are wooden walkways suitable for wheelchairs all around the venue, from right by the car park to the main tipi, and to the bathrooms. We’ve kept the day's main events close to the wooden walkways so everyone can join us.
There will be plenty of seating both inside and outside.
Who's taking whose surname?
Like Seal and Adele before them, they are removing all surplus names from their records.
You may refer to them henceforth as ‘Willzo’ and ‘Nix’.
