William and Kaili met in Iowa City while Kaili was attending the University of Iowa and William was attending school at Kirkwood College. Their first date included William's beloved food of pizza. William and Kaili knew on our their first date that it would be their last first date. In 2019, William joined the Grand Canyon University cheer team and moved halfway across the country. William and Kaili spent their first year of dating long distance, but God had a plan for them. Kaili got accepted into the Midwestern University Master's program in Arizona for Occupational Therapy.

In 2020, William and Kaili moved in together and have enjoyed every moment living in the sunny state of Arizona. William and Kaili love to hike, camp, work out, try the best restaurants, travel, and spend time with their friends and family.

William and Kaili bought a house in 2021 and have enjoyed building their life together. On February 23rd, 2024 William finally popped the big question and asked Kaili to marry him. They could not be more excited to start their next chapter together, and they are so excited to celebrate their love with family and friends on June 14th, 2025.
