Big fat snowflakes were falling on March 21st, 2022, as William drove his UPS truck up the Evergreen mountain pass to start a day of delivering packages in the snow.

Meanwhile Luke was driving the along the same road, albeit a touch too fast, on his way to manage a small metaphysical shop in Evergreen main.

The roads suddenly got slick, and their vehicle bumpers kissed at the red light intersection situated at the entrance of Elk Meadow Park in Evergreen, Colorado.

They exchanged information while chatting, shuffling their feet in the snow, and admiring the beauty of the wintry landscape of the meadows, and met again the very next evening to spend time running errands and sharing a love of classical music.

It was hard to deny the instant connection these introverted, nerdy, musicians had, their friendship and relationship developed rather quickly as they got together nearly every other day for the next few months.

They enjoyed going on hiking and camping trips together, going to matinee performances of the symphony orchestra, and eating good food all around the Denver area.

William was crazy enough to propose to Luke at the Blossoms of Lights, hosted by the Denver Botanical Gardens, on December 4th, 2022, and Luke was crazy enough to say yes!

Both William and Luke have dreams of a simple life, that will prioritize family, travel, and experiencing the joys and sorrows of life together.
