We met in March 2023 when Gracie decided it was time to introduce her Lutheran celiac nursing student bestie to her Lutheran celiac brother. Initially, Wyatt was too young for Danika, but before long, she found herself overlooking the 18 month age gap. We soon became pretty interested in one another after spending a little time in groups, and Wyatt got Danika's number.

It was only a matter of time before the messages turned from photos of heavy machinery that Wyatt was working with to figuring out what we should do for our first one-on-one hangout.

After a few goofy and cute dates, we made it official and began our dating journey in June, 2023. Through walks, church, chickadees, family time, half-watched movies, doodles, skiing, carrots, late homework nights, circle K runs, giant uno, stargazing, covid facetimes, failed dinner dates, road trips, games of pool, long discussions, hysterical laughter, tears, illness, and heart drawings in the snow, we fell deeply in love and decided we should probably stay together forever.

Wyatt finally proposed in April, 2025, and we are beyond excited for our wedding in June, 2026! We can't wait to see how our story together continues!!
