It all began back in high school. Bree was a bright-eyed freshman, and X was a sophomore. They crossed paths countless times throughout high school, yet neither could have guessed that God had something special in store for them.

Fast forward to the summer of 2020, X embarked on his journey to the Air Force Academy, while Bree was just beginning her application process. Bree often turned to X for advice, eager to hear about his experiences, and as destiny would have it, she was accepted too. They found themselves at the same prestigious academy, 2,000 miles away from home—the only two from their hometown!

During her freshman year, Bree struggled with physics, a challenge that felt overwhelming. But as luck would have it, X was a physics major. X became her tutor, helping her study for tests and complete her homework. Though Bree only passed with a D, their study sessions allowed for a budding friendship, happy to have someone from home to lean on.

That summer, X reached out to Bree, curious about how she was spending her first summer at USAFA. They texted back and forth, their connection deepening with each conversation. When Bree picked X up from the airport to drive back to school, they spoke about everything and nothing, their hearts quietly considering what could be.

After months of playful banter, countless text messages, multiple friend zonings, and more than a few moments of uncertainty, they finally decided to take the plunge. On September 8th, 2022—when they bonded over their love for America after the Queen of England died—they chose to make it official. From that moment on, their lives became beautifully intertwined, and the rest, as they say, is history.

They've continued to grow closer to each other and to God, and both can not wait to see what their life together hold!!!
