Yes, we'd love to see our guests dress their best in formal attire. This means, a floor-length gown for women and a suit and tie or tuxedo for men. Feel free to wear any color, but refrain from super bright shades and white, cream, beige, or anything too close to white! For your awareness, the bridesmaids will be wearing light pink.

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, we have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only event, with the exception of a few of our closest young cousins and nephews. If your children are invited to attend, you’ll see their names listed in the invitation and RSVP.

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate the individuals listed on your invitation. We look forward to celebrating with our closest family and friends!

The ceremony and reception venues are conveniently located just one mile away from each other. Each location is easily accessible by car, rideshares (Uber/Lyft), and public transportation.

We would love for you to be fully present with us during our ceremony, so we request that you refrain from taking photos or videos during this time. We have hired a professional photographer to capture all the special moments of the day, and we can't wait to share those photos with you.

After the ceremony, we’ll take photos with our immediate family and wedding party. A few extended family members will also be asked to stay behind, and we’ll reach out to them directly in advance. Because the Cathedral will continue its regular services, we must vacate the space by 4:00 PM. We will have the opportunity to capture more memories with the rest of our guests during our reception.

The time between the ceremony and reception allows for a traditional Catholic Mass. Feel free to take this time to recharge, check-in at the hotel, or grab a quick bite/drink at a nearby cafe or bar. Here are some options for your convenience: Tatte Bakery & Cafe, Bluestone Lane Cafe, Boqueria, Mercy Me, Castas Rum Bar, or the Visiteur Bar at the Washington Marriott Georgetown.

Sí, nos encantaría que nuestros invitados se vistieran elegantes con vestidura formal. Quiere decir, un vestido largo hasta el suelo para las mujeres y un traje con saco y corbata o esmoquin para los hombres. Pueden vestir cualquier color, pero absténganse de colores demasiado vibrantes y del blanco, crema, beige o cualquier color demasiado blanco. Para su consideración, las damas andarán de rosado pálido.

Aunque nos encantaría celebrar con todos, hemos decidido que nuestra misa de boda y recepción sea solo para adultos, con la excepción de algunos de nuestros primos y sobrinos más cercanos. Su invitación indicará si sus hijos están invitados.

Nos encantaría que estuvieran presentes durante la misa, así que les pedimos amablemente que no tomen fotos ni videos durante este tiempo. Hemos contratado a una fotógrafa profesional para capturar todos los momentos especiales del día y estaremos compartiendo esas fotos con ustedes.

Después de la ceremonia, nos tomaremos fotos con nuestra familia inmediata y wedding party. También le pediremos a algunos familiares extendidos que se queden para fotos, pero nos comunicaremos con ellos directamente con anticipación. Como la Catedral continuará con sus servicios regulares, debemos desocupar el espacio a las 4:00 PM. Tendremos la oportunidad de tomar más fotos y crear recuerdos con el resto de nuestros invitados durante la recepción.

El tiempo entre la ceremonia y la recepción nos permite celebrar nuestra boda como una misa católica tradicional. Aprovechen este tiempo para descansar, hacer check-in en el hotel, o tomar algo rápido en un café o bar cercano.
