Yen and Lawrence met online and quickly discovered how much they had in common, despite their different upbringings. Yen grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, while Lawrence grew up in Princeton, New Jersey. They were both single parents who put strong focus on raising their children while growing their careers and they both had daughters named Allison/Alison. Their first date at Sixty Vines in Plano, TX, marked the beginning of a connection that felt natural and meant to be.

Over the past seven years, their bond has grown through countless adventures. They love traveling together, but some of their favorite moments are the simple ones spent enjoying each other’s company.

In 2024, Yen and Lawrence moved to a home in Plano with their four children, Allison, Mason, Evan, and Allie and their two cats, Winston and Dumpling, blending their lives into a joyful and loving family. Now, they are excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story surrounded by the people they love most.
