To make this process as easy as possible, we have come up with a quick guide to make sure your vacation goes smoothly.
STEP 1: BOOK YOUR ROOM
Our room block has now open. We highly suggest you book your room as soon as you can. If you wish to still travel with us even after the room block is closed (April 1st, 2024) please visit the resort's website to book you room and alert Yesenia of your travel plans.
STEP 2: PASSPORT CHECK
Since this is an international trip, you do need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. Passports normally take 4-6 weeks to process. We highly suggest applying a minimum of 4 months in advance as a precaution.
To apply for a new passport or update an expired passport visit Travel.State.Gov.
STEP 3: BOOK YOUR FLIGHT
Airfare is not included and will need to be booked on your own. You will fly into the Cancun International (CUN) airport. Once your flight is booked , you will need to email ( I will provide the contact person asap) your flight information so they can coordinate your ground transfer from the airport to the hotel (Roundtrip Transportation is included in the nightly rate).
It is recommended that you book your flights 2-8 months before departure.
We recommend using Google Flights or Hopper to monitor available flights and pricing. However, we encourage you to book directly on the airline's website to avoid added fees or misunderstandings with the airline. This is a great opportunity to use any travel points you may have!
STEP 4: PACK YOUR BAGS
Even if you are planning on checking a bag, it is always a good idea to bring a carry-on with all of the most important items that you would need to get you through a few days (from medication, to toiletries and swimwear)- we are speaking from experience!!!
Resort App
Download the resort app "Hyatt Inclusive Collection" for resort map, restaurant dining times, daytime activities, entertainment schedule or for other resort amenities.
Tipping
Your resort fee has built-in tips for the staff, so while you are not obligated to tip, we recommend to bring at least $50-$100 per guest for tips. Typically tips ($1-$10) are encouraged to show appreciation for shuttle drivers, bartenders, waitstaff, cleaning staff, tour guides and spa staff.
Dining Attire
Restaurants at the resort have dress codes that fall into 2 categories: Casual, or Casual Elegance. Please be sure to pack accordingly to experience all of the resort's dining options. See below for examples of acceptable wear:
Casual – Bermudas, long shorts, or capri pants. Sneakers, tennis shoes or sandals. No sleeveless shirts or bathing suits for men. Ladies must wear a swimsuit wrap or cover-up.
Casual Elegance – Sneakers, tennis shoes, or dress shoes. Dress shirts with sleeves. Long pants required for men. No sleeveless shirts for men. No swimwear.
Beach towels
The resort provides the guests with beach towels to use on property, therefore you do not have to pack any if you do not want to!
