Though the winter winds had made our paths cross on the Vermont ski slopes the winter before, it was the in the warmth of a May evening in 2021 at our mutual friends’ beach house birthday party in Far Rockaway, Queens, where fate truly connected us. Amidst chattering friends, delicious grilled foods, and playing beer pong on a surfboard, our hearts found a rhythm together when chatting on a hammock that lovely evening. The following morning we relaxed together on the beach with friends. Little did we know that our shared laughter and time together would be the foundation of a beautiful journey. We spent much of that first summer together getting to know each other, exploring the city as it rebounded from the pandemic.

Our love story unfolded across snowy peaks and distant shores. From ski trips to Big Sky, Montana, Banff, Canada, and Vermont, to a momentous proposal at Bradley Lake in Teton National Park during a ski trip to Jackson Hole in February 2023, our adventures have been just as exhilarating as the slopes we conquered together. Imogen said yes, and that night, surrounded by the glow of shared dreams, we shared the news with each other’s family. As our love story continued to flourish, cultural bridges were crossed in June 2023 when Tim ventured to meet Imogen’s family in Shanghai, bridging language gaps with genuine affection. Our journey together is a testament to the enduring power of love, transcending borders and embracing the thrill of shared adventures.
