Who would have thought you could find the love of your life on a dating app!?! I certainly did not, but they say everything happens for a reason... (written from Molly's point of view)...

Zach and I met on a dating app called Bumble. If you don't know it, this particular app works with the woman saying hi first and starting the conversation. I was at the point of almost quitting the dating app world and giving up when I saw Zach. I of course thought he was very handsome and had a fun profile, and our now dog together (Zach's first) definitely helped as well! I of course swiped right, said hi, and we worked out setting up a first date.

Zach chose the spot, The Jeffrey - a crafty beer & bites bar in NYC, which I of course approved of because I had been there before several times and loved. Zach got there first, and when I walked in, he stood up from the bar, greeted me with a hug, and off we went! We talked all night and got to know each other, and had such a great time. At one point, Zach got up and I was hungry, so I ordered a Reuben sandwich for us to share. He got back to the bar and I told him, and he immediately said that he loved Reubens, so I ordered quite well😊

That first date was a great first date, so we of course kept it going and continued to see each other. Dates led to more dates, which led to meeting each other's family and friends, which led to moving in together, and you know the rest!

How did we get engaged you ask? Well let me tell you!

Zach and I love to travel, and this past October, we went on a trip to visit his family in Munich for Oktoberfest, and then continue onto Puglia, Rome and Venice Italy. We spent a majority of the trip with various family members of Zach's, but the last five days we had some time to travel ourselves in Rome and Venice.

Our last day in Rome we didn't have anything planned, as we had already toured the Colosseum and the Vatican, so we went exploring on our own. Zach had mentioned there was a cool botanical garden that he wanted to check out, so we did that the morning of our last day in Rome.

We got to the garden, and it looked like a jungle! It was very cool and beautiful, and had different sections you could walk through. Zach is a big fisherman and loves animals (as do I, and he's turned me into quite the fisherwoman) so he wanted to check out the Japanese garden on top of the hill to see the fish in the pond. I was totally down with this, so off we went to see the fish!

After that, we continued to walk down a path, where you could see the entire city of Rome! It was beautiful, and the absolute best views of the city by far. As we walked down the path, I was taking pictures of the view, but there were some with trees obstructing my view. We walked a bit further, and we got to one spot and Zach said "Oh this is the view!"

I agreed with him, picked up my phone, took some more pictures, and as I turned to face him, he was on his knee and asked me to marry him! It was the most perfect way and perfect moment, and that was the beginning of our new adventures!

The six and a half years that we have been together have definitely been one for the books, and our wedding starts a whole new chapter.

We can not wait to celebrate our special day with all of you and dance our faces off! Bring your dancing shoes, because this will be a party to remember!!
