We met freshman year of college when we were introduced by two mutual friends. We hit it off and quickly realized this was it. We started dating September 25, 2016 and have made it through a lot in 7 years. After college, Zachs new job sent him to Louisiana and Texas until he left in January to join Sarah in Denver. Sarah got her cat Moo shortly after, and we moved in together almost a year later. Shortly after, our puppy Cooper joined us and we met who we call our adult friends.


In August of 2022, the Newstroms spent the weekend together in the mountains before returning to Kansas on August 28th. Little did Sarah know, her family wasnt actually leaving but Zach had a plan to propose. After Zach and Sarah returned to Denver with Sarahs brother Jacob, Zach popped the question on a walk after lunch in our favorite downtown park. Sarah asked are you serious? about a hundred times before finally saying YES!


When we went to dinner that night, Zach and Sarahs families were waiting for us to celebrate together. Wedding planning has been so exciting and we cant wait to share our wedding day with our friends and families! See you soon, May!
