Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?
We ask that our ceremony be unplugged- no photos or videos. We want our guests to enjoy the ceremony and be present for this special time! Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, processional, and recessional as we have hired an amazing photographer and will gladly share any photos with you. We promise there will be plenty of time for photos during the cocktail hour and reception!
How do I get to/from the venue?
The Ribault Club offers ample free parking, if you plan to drive yourself. We have also arranged a free shuttle to/from the hotel block. The shuttle will pick up guests at 3:30 PM, and bring you back at the end of the night, after the grand exit. Please note, the wedding venue is not commonly available on rideshare apps (Uber/Lyft), so if you plan to drink we recommend taking the shuttle (ride shares are much more availability on Amelia Island by the hotel, if you aren’t staying there).
When Should I Arrive?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, and we kindly ask that all guests be seated by that time. Please plan to arrive between 4:00 PM and 4:25 PM, and not before 4:00 PM, as the venue will still be completing setup and the wedding party will be preparing privately.
Because the ceremony will begin right on time, guests who arrive after 4:30 PM may need to wait to be seated and could miss part of the ceremony. Thank you for helping us keep the day running smoothly by arriving within the requested window.
What if I am late to the ceremony?
We understand things happen, however, our day is coordinated on a strict schedule, which means we can not push back start times to anything due to people running late. Unfortunately, Jacksonville traffic can be unpredictable, especially when crossing over the bridges. Please plan accordingly as we can not wait to celebrate with you!
What is the attire?
We want everyone to dress to impress with us! So please wear a semi-formal outfit.
What is the weather going to be?
The weather in Jacksonville in April typically ranges from 60-80 degrees. The ceremony and dance floor will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly!
Can I bring a date?
Thank you so much for wanting to be a part of our special day, but we ask that you please only bring a date if granted a plus one on your invitation. Unfortunately, we are limited in the number of guests we can accommodate, and we've chosen to limit our wedding to closest friends and family members.
Where should I stay?
Please visit the travel section for information on hotel blocks! We highly recommend staying at the hotel block, as there will be a shuttle service. If you'd rather stay at an AirBnB, we recommend staying nearby in Amelia Island, or looking at the Sea Cottages which are right across from the hotel block and would be accessible with the shuttle to/from the wedding venue.
What if I didn't RSVP in time?
If we do not receive an RSVP back by the date in which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No". We will miss having you there but we have to stick to a strict schedule as far as preparing for our big day!
