There are 2 airports on Big Island, Kona and Hilo.

We recommend flying into Kona, since it's closer to our wedding venue and popular hotel destinations.

We recommend staying in one of these two areas:

Kailua-Kona area

Bustling beach town with lots of food and hotel options. You can also find many AirBnbs nearby at reasonable prices. Stay this area if you enjoy a lively vacation.

Waikoloa area

High-end resort area. Quiet and beautiful, but more expensive. Stay in this area if you want to get away from the crowds.

The closest resorts to Puakea Ranch are Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort, both near Waikoloa.

We will provide transportation from both Kailua-Kona and Waikoloa to our venue, Puakea Ranch.

Big Island is big! Please plan to rent a car to get around as there is virtually no public transportation.
