IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentleman can wear a suit or button up shirt and dress pants...ties optional. We want you to be comfortable enough to join us on the dance floor! No jeans or white/shades of white clothing please.

DOES YOUR WEDDING HAVE A THEME/COLORS?

Our wedding theme is: untraditional, moody, romantic, old money, and timeless elegance. Our colors are dark green, gold and black. If you would like to dress with the colors, go for it - however it is not necessary!

WHERE IS THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held on-site. The Cannery is a historic pumpkin canning factory turned into a wedding venue that holds raw, original character with modern elegance within multiple spaces. The ceremony will be held in The Courtyard (weather permitting), cocktail hour will be located inside The Grove, and the reception will be in The Main Space.

WHERE CAN I STAY?

Great question! Eureka does not have any hotels but does have a few local Airbnbs. We have a reserved a hotel block in Morton, IL with transportation (about 20ish mins away from our venue) for our guests who plan on staying overnight. Please see the Travel tab for hotel & local Airbnb info.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO & FROM THE VENUE?

Yes! We want to ensure everyone can have a fun & safe evening. We will be providing transportation to our guests to and from the designated hotel and venue. To take an extra precaution with safety, the venue allows overnight parking with a deadline to pick up your vehicle by noon the next day. Please see the transportation tab for more information.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

We will handle the first few but the rest of the drinks are on you! Guest will receive drink tickets which can be redeemed at the bar for alcoholic beverages. A cash bar will be available following the ceremony for guests who use all their tickets and would like additional drinks. Please bring cash (no credit cards allowed for bar purchases or ATM on site.) to enjoy the bar service. Please note complimentary soft drinks will be provided all night long.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Although we love the littles, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception and adult-only affair. Thank you for understanding!

CAN I BRING A DATE?

If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

Simply, hit decline on our RSVP - we will miss you! If you have RSVP'd to attend but have a change of plans, please let the bride or groom know ASAP.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT RSVP ON TIME?

If we do not receive an RSVP back by the date provided, it will be marked as a "NO." We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide a total guest count to the venue in a timely manner they have given us and cannot accept RSVPs due to this. We hope you understand!

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

We are strictly asking during the ceremony that you don't have your phones/cameras out and leave that to our beyond talented photo + film team. We want you to be fully present in the moment with us! However, you can absolutely take photos of us at the reception and post them to social media - don't forget to tag us!
