Garden party formal, for example, you’re still going to wear a classy, knee-length cocktail dress to floor length, but find a way to tie in the “garden” aspect – so, opt for a dress that is lighter in color rather than a harsh black dress. Or wear a long, satin dress with a floral print. Or even just some soft pearls could do the trick with a garden party dress. For you men, you’re still going to wear a suit, but instead of wearing a black suit with a black tie, opt for a gray suit with a periwinkle tie. We kindly ask our guest to not wear jeans, sneaker, flip-flops, or the color white. We will be having Zoë's childhood favorite dish that her Grandmother Mary Ann O'Kobrick made for her growing up called "Chicken Kiev" served with a bed of rice and delicious crisp green beans as a seated meal. If you have a dietary restriction that prevents you from eating any of the items above, please contact us! We will do our best to accommodate everyone.

Due to the capacity of the venue, only those who have been invited in the official Wedding Invitation will be able to attend the wedding and who is specifically addressed on the envelope received. (Ex: Your name and specific guest)

The ceremony will be held in the "Birdsong Chapel" of The Cornealius Properties in Goldsboro, NC. The Chapel is a 1728 ft.² open air chapel in a woodland setting. A wedding experience that is up close with nature, under the protection of a roof and ceiling fans keep air moving in the summer. With the open air nature of the Chapel, prepare as if it was an outdoor wedding. The social hour will be outdoors of the Carriage hall a short walk from the chapel while the reception will be held indoors of the Carriage Hall.

Although we love you children, unfortunately due to the venues capacity restrictions we cannot accommodate them other than the children that are involved in the Bridal party that are family. We invite you to use this weekend as a date night!

If we do not get an RSVP back by the day we have provided, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to our vendors in a timely manner. We hope that you understand!
