No, this is not a legal ceremony. This is a wedding-themed party that will celebrate our friendship and platonic life partnership, especially facing the end of our time living together in the house that brought us (and many of you!) together in friendship -- the fabled Albion St house. Do we need a better excuse to bring all of our favorite people together? No but we also both have big June birthdays WHAT OF IT
Can I bring a plus one?
If you're receiving this invite, you are welcome to bring anyone you'd like, "as long as they're not an asshole" (in the fine words of Zoe). This weekend is, first and foremost, a CELEBRATION OF DEEP FRIENDSHIP. Bring a friend, a lover, a friend-to-be-lover (?!!?!!?), a lover-who's-turned-friend, arch nemesis turned genuinely good guy, someone you've been meaning to tell how much they mean to you, someone who is just great to party with..... we could go on. We'd like to witness more professions of love than our own this weekend.
What is the dress code?
For the ceremony itself: Thrift-store formal.
**Also all guests are expected to assume a "wedding personality" where they act (and dress) as "that person" at a wedding. Get creative.
For all other events: whatever the ef u want.
I live out of town, can I crash somewhere?
We are going to fill our house to the brim with guests, and will be asking other friends in Somerville / Cambridge to host :) Everyone will have a fun and loving place to stay.
What is brackish water?
Brackish water is water with a salinity higher than freshwater but lower than seawater, typically found in areas where freshwater and saltwater mix, like estuaries, bays, and coastal groundwater aquifers.
Brackish water has a salinity between 0.5 and 30 parts per thousand (ppt), while freshwater is less than 0.5 ppt and seawater is generally between 35 and 38 ppt.
Do bees sleep in the winter?
No, honeybees don't hibernate or "sleep" in the winter; instead, they stay active within their hive, clustered together to generate heat and survive the cold, relying on their stored honey for energy.
