y member's funeral. There were not any other spots available because of the great impact the deceased had made on our community. This woman (the owner) could see from her door what was going on because the hearse was right there by the church. Her door is in direct view of it. She has more than 6 spots available. Jessica (my best friend) was parked in one of those spots and the owner left a note on her car that said "Thank you for using my parking spot for your personal use." Jessica saw the note and confronted the woman about the reason why she was parked there. The owner cussed her out multiple times and put a bucket out during the funeral that said "customer parking only" (a little late). I saw this happen from over by the church and heard the confrontation over the phone while it was happening. It would be different if she was a normal store front business like a bakery selling cup cakes and more all throughout the day out of her shop or if someone was parking there to play on the church swing set, but Jessica was there for a funeral for a loved family member (Might I add, the door was locked so there were no customers coming in and out). I understand that she has a business to run, but one car was made into that big of a deal? I believe she could have shown some respect and understood that the ONLY options were to park there or on the street by the stop sign that could have resulted in an accident. Cussing out someone and leaving notes on their car was the wrong way to handle it and I personally will never promote her business and I hope you would not either. Thank you. After this happened, she left a comment on her business Facebook page making her look like innocent and like she was the victim. She left out all of the facts except for someone parking in her lot. After multiple comments from me, my best friend, and other people who saw this event unfold, she deleted the comment from her page. Why would she delete something if she was the innocent one and had nothing to hide? Anyone else in town would have graciously opened up the parking spots to the 1-hour long funeral because that is the right way to promote your business and that is what a small town does for one another. This woman is not this way. She needs to go to church and gain some proper morals and respect. I hope that no one uses Cakes by Mom and Me ever again!

the cakes were delicious! I chose the strawberry and chocolate, and the mint julep to use in my cake, and the groom's cake was carrot. Her prices are very reasonable. I was able to afford the exact ornate beautiful cake of my dreams (which I was sure I could never afford and I was actually looking for what I could afford to resemble it). They were so rich and delicious! My wedding was in Tupelo and she even delivered everything herself and set them up for a reasonable charge. I could not be more satisfied with their service. If you aren't calling to book them right now then you are taking a dangerous risk with your wedding day. My total cost was right under $1100, and that was for both cakes and the delivery charge to Tupelo. His cake was 3 tiers with a custom topper, and my cake was an intricate 4 tier with multiple cake flavors, fluted edges, and gold foil lace detail covering 2 of the 4 tiers. My cake alone would have easily cost $1500 somewhere else.

Pecan (no nuts, just the flavor) with butter butter cream icing. We were able to rent a stand from them as well, so that cake had something nicer to sit on as well. I would highly recommend them to any bride!

, and delicious too!! We had the strawberry and chocolate cakes, but I had a hard time deciding what to choose. I would highly recommend them. They are also very reasonable and professional.
