Our story is 8 years in the making! It all started as 21-year-old college students that unexpectedly found their forever person.

Corey and I met by chance on a bus full of rowdy frat guys and sorority girls heading to a Hayride event. The bus was so packed that we had to start sitting 3 to a seat. So I (Abbey), enter the bus and look for the closest seat to squeeze into. Lo and behold it was Corey and his then-girlfriend that I ended up sitting with 😂. Even though this was our first meeting, it wasn't until months later that Corey was single again and messaged me on Twitter about a music festival I had posted about. After sliding in the DMs he made his move, we exchanged numbers, and started talking more and more. Finally, he asked me to come over to his house to meet his new kitten and of course, I did. Even though I wasn't really a cat person, I couldn't miss out on this opportunity (that kitty is still a part of our little family, today)!

From then on we were inseparable but were totally clueless as to what that first bus ride would lead to 8 years later.

As many of you know, we as a couple have been put through many trials. From college graduations, long distance, moving to Pikeville, getting through optometry and nursing school, starting our careers, buying a house (that flooded might I add 😅), and getting a puppy.. the list goes on. We have been fortunate to grow together during all of these major life events and are stronger because of them. We are each other's greatest supporters and love each other unconditionally through it all.

Our wedding in Hawaii is not only a celebration of our future together but also of our growth and the accomplishments that have led us here.

We look forward to sharing our celebration of love with our friends and family, who have all played a part in our success as a couple in some way over these past 8 years.
