The Biltmore Estate is still a family owned property known as America’s largest home. It was built in the late 1800’s by George Vanderbilt. You can tour the mansion, which is like being on a set of Downton Abby. They also have amazing gardens and a winery on the property.
Omni Grove Park Inn is also a historical hotel in Asheville. It was built in the early 1900’s and was a favorite getaway for very famous people like Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone, Helen Keller and Harry Houdini. Pigeon Forge/Dollywood- Pigeon Forge, TN is a popular town for family fun and activities. Dollywood was the creation of country singer Dolly Parton. It is a theme park/resort/amusement park that is very popular in the region.
