Highlands, North Carolina is a beautiful mountain town in Western North Carolina. The most convenient airports to fly to would be Asheville, North Carolina (1 1/2 hour drive) and Atlanta (2 1/2 hour drive). Charlotte, North Carolina is 3 1/2 hours away.
When choosing a place to stay please be aware that the Friday Indian Event will take place in Cashiers, NC and the Saturday Traditional Wedding will take place in Highlands, NC. The shuttle service will pick up and drop off at Old Edwards Inn in Highlands.
