Months Before the Wedding
When are RSVPs due?
Please send your RSVP here on the website or by mail to our address (2 Riverside Dr., Apt 2A, New York, NY 10023) by March 15 so we can give our vendors enough time to prepare.
Is there a hotel block?
To give families freedom to stay where they want on their individual budgets, we have opted to not pre-book a block of hotel rooms. Staying in midtown Manhattan gives great flexibility for activities and travel. One option that seems more affordable at the moment is the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New York Times Square West. Another option for those wanting to stay close to the venue is The Graduate on Roosevelt Island, although it might make sightseeing slightly more complicated with going in and out of Manhattan. For budget options, we recommend staying in Brooklyn or Queens; you may be able to save $50-$100/night by adding on 20 minutes to your commute.
What is the dress code?
Our dress code is cocktail attire. Suit and tie, Little Black Dress, something elegant and springy, a nice jumpsuit, there are many options with cocktail attire! Here's more information on what that includes: https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364
Is Abby taking the Boyd name?
Yes, Abby will be a Boyd! However, we ask that monogrammed gifts not be given, as it does not fit the personal style of Abby or Brian.
What is the vaccination policy?
We would love for all guests to be fully vaccinated, with booster(s) because there are many high-risk individuals who will be attending. If you are not vaccinated, we are requiring a negative rapid test result on the day of the wedding. Even if you are vaccinated, we encourage a rapid test on the day before or the day of the wedding. Please help us keep our loved ones safe and comfortable on this day.
