Abby is from Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She loves cats, Brian Boyd, knitting and other crafts, reading, rock climbing, and playing games on her Nintendo Switch and computer. She studied World Languages Education (Spanish) at the University of Oklahoma, and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education here in NYC. She teaches in Hell's Kitchen.

Brian is from New York, New York and is a lover of pets, Abby Palmer, rock climbing (thanks to Abby), and everything technical. He met Abby while getting his Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Tulsa. Currently, he works as a software engineer for Standard and Poor's. No, he can't make the stocks go up.

Shannon is the husband to Melody and the proud father to his children. He is a former Marine and a civil servant for the last 23 years. When not building things for his wife or working on his old Chevy work truck, he can be found doing all things geek: gaming, 3D printing, building a new home server or just tweaking and securing his home IT lab. Abby choosing him to be her dad is one of his proudest achievements.

Melody is mom to 3 kiddos, 2 biological and one bonus, wife to Shannon, and a grandmother of two. She's a librarian who enthralls children with books that she reads with silly voices and visits schools in the character of books she reads. Melody is almost always listening to a book or a podcast while doing other things like puzzles or gardening. She has a large ginger cat and two large, loveable dogs that she adores.

Mom to Sarah and Brian Jr. and wife of Brian Sr. Fran enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with Coco. Fran's faith plays a big part in her life and she has traveled to several countries to speak hope into people's lives. As a marathoner, she is running her 29th marathon in March, 2023. Besides helping with their marketing company, Fran practices real estate in both NY and Florida.

Father of 2 and husband to Fran, Brian loves to travel and keep up with the latest tech. As co-founder (with Fran) of a global marketing company, he and Fran love to bring marketing success to organizations worldwide. Brian was also a DJ at a roller rink in Seattle, Washington in the 80's.

Abdi is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He recently moved back to the US and enjoys the national parks, skiing, cooking, mixed martial arts, and falling into Wikipedia rabbit holes. He studied computer science at the University of Minnesota and is currently traveling across the US before settling back into a career in data science.

Amber met Abby when they both worked as RAs in a truly ancient dorm at the University of Oklahoma. Incredibly, they made it out alive and have been friends ever since. A born-and-bred Texan, Amber lives in Dallas, where she works in the admin department of a local newspaper, tricks her roommate’s cat into loving her more, and stans Rian Johnson whodunnits. She loves a good horror movie, has horrible taste in music, and can’t wait to be a part of Abby’s big day.

Jon is a close family friend of the Boyds. He is a world record holder, a motivational speaker, and one of the best people that Abby and Brian know.
