Traveling to Puebla

Puebla is located 2 hours from Mexico City by car. If you are traveling internationally, we suggest flying into Mexico City International Airport also called Benito Juarez International Airport (IATA: MEX).

There is also a domestic airport in Puebla, about 30 minutes from the city center. We suggest flying here if you are traveling from Tijuana Airport or any other Mexico airport.

From the Mexico City Airport, there are several options to commute:

1. Private Transportation

We recommend using Akera Travel for your transportation needs during the wedding week as they are a trusted vendor. Information to book a private transfer is below (click on the photos to enlarge them).

2. Bus

There are two bus lines that leave directly from the airport at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. These buses are safe, comfortable and economical. They run about $30 one way for a ticket and leave every 15-30 mins, 20 hours a day.

You will want to purchase a ticket to Paseo Destino - Puebla (don't go to CAPU, it's too crowded).

From Paseo Destino you can take a cab or an Uber to your hotel.

The two bus lines options are below. Both are great options:

Estrella Roja Bus Line: https://www.estrellaroja.com.mx/

3. Ubers

Ubers are an option but we don't recommend them as our first choice. They will cost about $120-150 USD each way.
