What airport do we fly in to?
The nearest airport is Amerigo Vespucci in Florence (about at hour from Villa Cini). The airport of Galileo Galilei in Pisa is an hour and a half distance and the Airport Leonardo da Vinci in Rome is about two hours and a half from Villa Cini. We advise you to rent a car.
Tip: Flying into major airports such as Rome and Milan may be cheaper with less layovers if you're willing to take the train to Florence or Arezzo and rent a car there.
Can I reach the venue by train?
The nearest train station is in Bucine but it is small with a few stops. It is better to go to Arezzo or to Montevarchi, where you can take a taxi or rent a car.
We recommend you to book train tickets ahead of time! We have also used the Trenitalia app beforenand it has been very reliable.
How to reach the venue by car?
From the north: Autostrada A1 exit Valdarno-Montevarchi and after planning turn right, go into the direction of Siena. Between Montevarchi and Levane there is a big roundabout. Exit to direction Siena - Bucine. At that point, you don't need to enter any villages. You have to pass Bucine and Capannole (small village). After Capannole turn left to Badia Agnano, after 1 km you will find the signs to Villa Cini on your left, take the cypress lane and you have arrived.
From the south: Autostrada A1 exit Monte San Savino, then take the super strada and exit at Alberoro, follow the signs to Civitella in Val di Chiana, after Civitella go to Badia Agnano, after Badia Agnano go 1 km on your right, before Capannole, you will find the signs to Villa Cini.
How is it driving the roads of Tuscany?
Driving the roads of Tuscany is no more difficult than driving country roads in the USA. It is a very large area. Italians drive on the right side of the road, just like Americans. Traffic signs and stop signs are the same as most other countries, but like most Europe, right turns on red are illegal. Speed limits are strictly enforced with speed cameras. Although there aren't a lot, make sure to bring cash to pay tolls.
Do I need an international driver's license?
, I recommend going to AAA or online (https://international-permit.com/en-us) and getting an international drivers license ($20). Basically if you get pulled over by the police (not common), your identification information is translated into their language.
What if I don't want to drive in Tuscany?
We would then recommend a driver. It is pricer but manageable with a group. Here are some options:
Pek Service (email to book: info@pekservice.org)

-Villa Cini-Florence 170 euro
-Villa Cini-Pisa 275euro

Do you guys have a gift registry?
No, we do not have a gift registry. Having our friends and family together in Tuscany for our wedding is more than we can ask for! However, if you would like to send us a gift, any contribution to our New home fund would be appreciated, but not expected. You may do that through this website.
