Activities at Castello di Bibbione
Our venue offers many activities that guests can participate in on the property. Activities include wine tastings, olive oil tastings, authentic Italian cooking classes, mountain bike tours, vespa scooter tours, hot air balloon rides, and of course, lounging by the pool one of the three pools on the property.
Day Trips
We hope our guests will explore the neighboring towns and cities located beyond the walls of Castello di Bibbione. One of the many reasons we chose this venue is its proximity to so many iconic Italian cities and landmarks. Below we have included some options our guests may consider for day trips outside of the villa.
Florence
The world renowned city of Florence is just 30 minutes from Castello di Bibbione. Florence is known as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and as such, the city has some of the world's most famous art museums and cathedrals. The city center of Florence is a UNESCO world heritage site and rightfully so. From art, history, science, religion, food, and fashion, Florence has so much to offer its visitors.
Siena
During our travels to Tuscany, Kirill and I fell in love with the medieval city of Siena. This city is located about 1 hour from Florence. Siena is significantly smaller than Florence, so if the crowds of Florence are a bit overwhelming for you, Siena might be a great alternative. Siena is home to the world's oldest bank and one of the oldest highways. For centuries, Europeans took pilgrimages from all over Europe to Rome using the Via Francigena, which runs right through Siena.
Pisa
The iconic city of Pisa is located just 1 hour from Florence. Of course, the famous leaning tower of Pisa can be found here, where Galileo is rumored to have conducted his famous experiments on gravity. However, the city of Pisa is also home to many historic churches, palaces, and plazas.
Round of Golf at the Ugolino Golf Club
The Tuscan countryside has some of the most incredible golf courses in the world. Kyle would love any golf-playing guests to join him for a round of golf during our wedding weekend. The Ugolino golf course offers picturesque panoramic views of the rolling hills of Tuscany as well as a challenging course. The golf course is located just 11 minutes from our venue.
