The iconic film "The Godfather" directed by Francis Ford Coppola was largely filmed in Sicily, Italy. One of the most famous filming locations from "The Godfather" is the Bar Vitelli in Savoca. This small village, located near Taormina, served as the backdrop for Michael Corleone's wedding to Apollonia. To get to Savoca from Taormina, you can either drive or take a bus. It's about a 45-minute drive by car. Once in Savoca, you can easily find Bar Vitelli in the main square, where you can enjoy a drink and immerse yourself in the film's atmosphere.
