First things first, make sure your passport is up to date and does not expire within 6 months of your trip!

Good news! The ETIAS travel vias has been pushed back to 2026. However, if you are traveling to or through the UK this summer you will an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). It could take up to 3 business days to process so please keep this in mind. For those traveling from overseas, first we'd like to say a HUGE thank you, even though these words are not even close enough in describing the gratitude we have for your willingness to travel for us and our big day.

When searching and booking flights, please be aware you choose the correct airport. The airport you want to fly into is Larnaca International Airport (LCA). This airport is the closest to Protaras and is about a 45-minute drive to the wedding festivities.

Many of you already know, but there is no direct flight to Cyprus from the US. We do advise staying in Cyprus for 5-7 days minimum (not including travel days) to truly enjoy this beautiful island. If you plan on making this a longer trip, using a layover as a vacation stop is also ideal! Some places that you can enjoy on your way in or out of Cyprus are Greece, Italy, the UK, France, or Switzerland. (We suggest checking that there are direct flights from Cyprus to/from these locations for a more seamless trip experience.)

We strongly recommend you book your flights as soon as possible because prices can increase dramatically once the new year hits.

There are many options for accommodations in the Protaras area - hotels, apartments, and villas. We do highly recommend staying in the Agia Triada area, so you are near all of the festivities. If you decide to stay further away, we suggest renting a car. We are happy to help plan your stay, so feel free to get in touch!

Make sure you check multiple platforms: Airbnb, Booking.com (a very good one for Cyprus), Expedia etc., or get in touch with the hotels directly.

This has been verified by a few people who have already booked to stay here! The more people that book for our wedding, the larger the discount for our guests - minimum 5 nights)

- Livas ⭐⭐⭐: (Great budget friendly option. Walking distance to Pernera beach and boardwalk. Email and mention Alexia + Vincent wedding - minimum 5 nights)

(This is a hot spot for vacations, so there are MANY hotels to look into especially in the downtown area. If you find one that is not on the list above, feel free to ask us any questions you have!)

We are in direct contact with many home/villa rental companies in this area. We also currently have 5 villas pre-booked, all of which have free cancellation up to the month before check-in. If you plan on renting a car during your stay, you can pick it up directly from the airport. Please let us know if you plan on doing this and we can help point you in the right direction! We suggest downloading the map of Cyprus on Google Maps so that you have access to GPS and directions even without cell service. Most places have wifi in which you can connect. NOTE: In Cyprus, they drive on the left side of the road like they do in the UK.

If you are travelling with no car, there are public buses to get around the Protaras and Ayia Napa area. (Ayia Napa is the beach town next to Protaras.)
