While our wedding weekend is located in Sister Bay, Door County has so much to offer throughout its various villages. We have outlined things to do/places to eat throughout Door County in case you have a car and time to explore. **We have tried to highlight only things that are open in the offseason, but please confirm that places are open before you venture out!

This is an old timey bowling alley with 6 lanes and self-scoring located right on the main strip of Sister Bay. We wanted to have our welcome party here but the space wasn't conducive to a wedding of our size, and Alison broke a nail. They are open until 2am and double as a dive bar!

This pizza place turns out some quality pies. We are obsessed with The Fun Guy! They have vegan cheese, vegan sausage, and gluten free crust for our friends with dietary needs. Be sure to both order and pick up from the Sister Bay location as there are multiple.

We loved the coffee so much that we got a second latte to go before leaving. Then we went back and got two the next day. They have plenty of veg friendly options for food!

Visit the flagship store of one of our favorite artists! We discovered her work on TikTok and were delighted to learn she is based in Door County! We have a special print in our home that is emblematic of our first dance song. Check her out! "Vicki creates stunning yet fleeting works of art made of bits of mother nature. Once her original is photographed, it’s recycled back into the earth."

Largely considered the best hike in Door county. It does require a Wisconsin State Park pass - which I believe you can buy on site. Hit Eagles Tower at the start of the hike for beautiful views!

As you all know, we love a good coffee shop. We've tried a bunch of difference cafes around Door County and this one reigns supreme. The interior is adorable, the coffee is delicious, and right across the street is a perfect place to look out at the lake. Maisy wanted to add that they have a 10/10 pup cup that includes both whipped cream and bacon.

The Fiddler's Farm is dedicated to bringing Door County Wisconsin a quality, Branson Style music show! Wisconsin's best musicians come together in one place for a family friendly show in a barn over 100 years old! Start with the 30-minute ferry ride across Death’s Door strait and drive your car or rent a bike or UTV to explore the island. You’ll find a few lodgings, restaurants, and food stops, but mostly you’ll find wide-open spaces perfect for biking, hiking, driving, and exploring.

Don’t miss the smooth-stone Schoolhouse Beach, the lavender farm, or the rolling fields of green. If you have a whole day, hop a second ferry and explore incredible Rock Island State Park.

Each ferry has ample deck space with open-air seating. A heated cabin on board provides shelter in bad weather and the winter. Photo opportunities abound on your trip through Death’s Door, so be sure to bring your camera! Northport Pier is located at 215 WI-42 Ellison Bay, WI 54210 (i.e. at the end of Hwy 42).
