My wonderful sister-in-law came into my life back in the early 2000’s. She has been an important part of our family ever since! She and my brother were wed in Whitefish Montana very close to where Megan grew up and where she and my brother, Harrison, will be relocating to very soon! She has her MA in English Literature that she got from UNC. She enjoys gardening, spending time with her kitty, Tillamook, while crocheting hats for her and spending time with family.

Kali is my wonderful Sister-in-law to be! She moved to the States at age 17 from Romania. Met her soul-mate, Chris, in college and the two have been married for 17 years. She enjoys being a wife, stay-at-home mom, house manager, and homeschooler! Her hobbies include gardening, decorating, and hosting friends and family. She is so loving and a great mom!

My future niece is 14 years old, going into 9th grade. She is extroverted, loud, and confident. She enjoys being with her friends but also loves her time alone. Her best friend is her sister, the two of them love being at the barn with their horse Pine. She listens to Country and Christian music and enjoys horseback riding. One of her future career ambitions is to work with animals.

This beautiful young lady is 12 years old, going into 7th grade. She is shy at first, but really talkative and funny once you get to know her. She is sweet, compassionate and dependable. She enjoys time with her friends, likes Country and Christian music, she loves her dogs, Boots and Sparky, her cat, Pinky, and her horse Pine. Just like her big sister, she loves horseback riding and rides with her often. She will take any opportunity to be at the farm! Definitely my kind of girl.

Patty is a kind, brilliant and dedicated mom. She works part time as a substitute elementary school teacher and has her MS in biology. She has moved across the country with her husband of 46 years, Randy. She loves cooking, playing with her cat, Tater, and having family visit her beautiful home.

Randy is a funny, intelligent and understanding father. He has his PhD in Animal Science with a focus on Nutrition. He put this education to use as a Dairy Nutritionist before retiring. He enjoys spending his days on YouTube, working in the yard and relaxing while watching movies with Patty.

I’ve known Chris his whole life. He is my younger brother of only five years. Chris is a certified financial planner with his own firm he built from scratch. Chris is the husband of Kali and father of Adelina and Mikaela who are in the wedding party. Chris is a devoted father and active in his church. In his spare time Chris likes cheering on the Panthers and spending time with his family.

Tony and I met in 2002 when I started to frequent the comic book store he opened with his wife, Tami. Tony and I bonded over our mutual love for comics and toys. Over the years I have worked for Tony in his store and at conventions. Tony has worked for me as well when I was in management positions. Tony and I have remained close over the years and he is a true friend. Tony’s hobbies include collecting comics, toys and playing video games.

I met Kevin in the 2000s when he came into the comic store where I worked. Over time we bonded through our love of comics, toys and video games. Kevin and his wife, Jackie, have two children, Oliver and Cora. Kevin is completing a degree in graphic design and will be teaching at Central Piedmont Community College, CPCC, in the fall. He has done freelance graphic design work and published his own comics. Kevin’s hobbies include collecting comics, reading, drawing and video games.

Don and I met in the early 2000s when he started to frequent the comic book store in which I worked. Don and I bonded over comics and our love of “the hunt” for the perfect collectible. In the last few years Don and I have started buying and selling comics on our own and doing conventions together. Don worked in printing for many years, but recently moved into a customer service position. His hobbies include collecting comics, creating custom 3d prints, creating and selling stickers online and at conventions. Don lives in Rockhill with his wife Laura.

Buster is my dad. He is a jack of all trades and a master of many. Dad was a nuclear reactor operator with Duke Energy for over 35 years before retiring several years ago. In addition to his full time work, dad was always building something for himself or for hire. He has built many decks (including ours!), docks and even a garage or two. Dad enjoys spending time with his grandkids and camping in his camper with friends. He has been married to my mom, Kim, for over 45 years and lives with her in Denver, NC.

Kim is my mother. My mom came to the United States from South Korea when she married my dad back in 1977. My mom worked several jobs over the years from making biscuits at Hardee’s to packing shoestrings to help our family when I was young. My mom loves spending time with her grandchildren and family as well as having weekly lunch dates with her friends. She is also an active walker and loves to garden and cook. She lives in Denver with my dad.
