The Durham Farmers' Market is open Saturdays 8am-12pm from April through November! We love spending a Saturday morning strolling around the market, sipping coffee, grabbing snacks and baked goods, and checking out the local artists' tables.
Over 20 miles of trails that begins in downtown Durham, just down the street from the American Tobacco Campus! The trail is paved and is frequented by walkers, joggers, and cyclists. A helpful landmark to get to the start of the path is the "Miracle League of the Triangle - Durham field," a small community baseball field on the corner of Morehead Ave and Blackwell St. There are also other trailheads with parking lots along the trail, if you choose to drive out to a more remote part and start there.
A downtown hotel, but the first couple of floors are museum gallery spaces with some funky art! The building is a former bank, and you can go downstairs into the old bank vault. They also have a great bar and restaurant, if you want to grab anything to eat or drink.
If you liked Question #2 in our Q+A section, you might enjoy this quaint and free museum on Main St. (in a renovated bus station).
