Airport
Fly into Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). It's about a 20 minute uber/lyft/cab ride from downtown Durham.
Hotels
Below are a few hotels we recommend that are walkable (or super short uber/lyftable) from all our events, and generally are right downtown in the middle of all the "Things to Do" stuff if you're looking for a classic Durham weekend.
We have hotel blocks at both the Durham Hotel and Marriott Durham City Center at the rates listed below, but feel free to compare with prices online (we don't need to fill a certain number of rooms or anything).
If you're looking for more space/lower prices/different amenities/whatever, there are also a bunch of Airbnbs and other hotel options in the area (particularly if you expand the radius a bit from downtown).
The Durham Hotel
Boutique downtown hotel with a cool vibe and great cocktails on the rooftop bar.

Durham Marriott City Center
Nice rooms, great location, Starbucks and breakfast offered in the lobby.

21c Museum Hotel Durham
Former bank, current hotel and museum. You can grab a drink on the first floor and then wander downstairs to the old bank vault or upstairs to the (typically pretty modern/funky) art gallery. Rooms tend to be a bit pricier than the options above (but are pretty unpredictable as check-in dates get closer, so it's worth checking if this appeals to you).

Parking for downtown hotels
For any of the above hotels, we recommend parking in the Chapel Hill Street Parking Garage (probably the closest to Durham Hotel), the Durham Centre Parking Garage (probably the closest to the Marriott), or the Corcoran Street Parking Garage (probably closest to 21c). It's an easy walk from any of these to any of the three hotels—see the map below for relative locations. As of when we're typing this, these garages are all $2.25 per hour Monday-Friday 8am-7pm, but free on nights and weekends. Alternately, all the above hotels offer valet parking ($15 per night at the Marriott, $20 per night at Durham Hotel).
