Things to Do

These are a few of our Seattle must-do activities (in no particular order!). Please get out and enjoy what our beautiful city has to offer while you are here!

Pike Place Market

85 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101, USA
(206) 682-7453

From fresh food to souvenirs and artisan goods, the market has something for everyone! An easy walk or transit ride from any downtown location, Pike Place is a must!

Space Needle

400 Broad St, Seattle, WA 98109, USA
(206) 905-2100

The Space Needle of course offers the best uninterrupted views of Seattle and the surrounding area. (VERY instagrammable!) There are also a few options for refreshments at the top of the needle, including a simple cafe and a high-end rotating restaurant. The Needle is located in Seattle Center, which also houses the Chihuly Museum, Museum of Pop Culture, Climate Pledge Arena, the Monorail, and the Armory. Make a day out of it!

Bainbridge Island Ferry

Seattle Ferry Terminal, Seattle, WA 98104, USA

If you really want to get your Derek Shepard on, hop on a ferry at the downtown terminal and enjoy the 30-minute ride to Bainbridge Island. The Bainbridge dock is located a short walk from their downtown, which is full of local history, good food, and cute shops.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Pickle Ball originated on Bainbridge Island?

Museum of Pop Culture

325 5th Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109, USA
(206) 770-2700

The Museum of Pop Culture is built around the Monorail track. There are so many interesting exhibits including homages to Horror Film, Sci-FI, Harry Potter, Jimi Hendrix, and Video Games. We have been here multiple times and never get tired of it!

Washington Park Arboretum

2300 Arboretum Dr E, Seattle, WA 98112, USA
(206) 543-8800

The Arboretum offers a gorgeous location for our more nature-minded friends. The large collection of various flora from all over the world is truly impressive. You should definitely bring your walking shoes, however, as the trails throughout the park are extensive!

Woodland Park Zoo

Seattle, WA 98103, USA
(206) 548-2500

We love a good zoo, and Woodland Park is definitely that. Chris recommends spending some time at the massive penguin exhibit, while Alli prefers the immersive experience of the bear caves. The whole zoo is fantastic, though, with lots to see for kids of ALL ages!
