We would like our guests to stay nearby and to enjoy an authentic, "up north" experience. For these reasons, we've blocked off several cozy units for our guests at Interlochen Center for the Arts, just a 7-minute drive from the venue! Most units include two queen beds in a shared bedroom, as well as a sleeper sofa in the living room. Space is limited, so reservations will be given on a first come first serve basis. We encourage guests to coordinate with others to share a unit, when possible.
We will be arranging a shuttle between the Interlochen lodging units and the wedding reception. More information on shuttle times and pick-up location to come.
If you'd prefer a more traditional hotel experience, the Courtyard Traverse City, located just 15 minutes from the venue, has offered our guests a 15% discount off the normal hotel rate at the time of booking. Please see below for more details.
There are several other hotels located in Traverse City, 15-30 minutes away from the venue. Please be mindful that ride-sharing options may be limited, and no shuttle service will be provided from the Courtyard Traverse City or any other TC-area hotels.

4. View available lodging options and make your selection. You do not need to check availability. Simply select "Book Room" to continue. After filling out the booking form, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided.
To book directly with the hotel, please call (231) 276-7570 and reference the Crites Wedding block. The hotel is open 7 days a week from 8am - 9pm.
Deposit and Cancellation Policy:
One night's deposit is due at time of reservation. The balance is due at time of check in. Cancellations made more than three days prior to arrival will get a full refund. Cancellations made within three days of arrival will result in the loss of the deposit.
Code of Conduct:
Strict behavioral expectations prohibit smoking, public consumption of alcohol, drugs, firearms, loud disturbances, and large gatherings to maintain a safe environment. Guest access is restricted to designated lodging areas, excluding classrooms, student residences, and other facilities. Guests must comply with all safety protocols, including emergency procedures, with the hotel front desk serving as the primary contact and campus safety available 24/7. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in immediate removal and forfeiture of deposits.
Check In and Check Out Times:
Arrival 8/21/25: Check In 4pm / Check Out 11am
Arrival 8/22/25: Check In 3pm / Check Out 11am
Guests arriving on Thursday 8/21 must follow our standard check in time of 4pm.
Guests arriving on Friday 8/22 are permitted to check in one hour early at 3pm.
**We cannot offer early check in and late checkouts for group reservations due to the size of our campus and variety of lodging locations. To guarantee an early check in or late checkout we recommend arriving a day early or extending your departure date**
