Allison Walker & Jordan Milo met at Notre Dame in September 2014 during their sophomore year. The couple was introduced through Allison's roommates in Farley Hall and Jordan’s roommates in Dillon Hall. The two groups became an inseparable crew during their time at ND.

After almost 3 years of friendship, Allison and Jordan started dating on April 13, 2017 of their senior year at Notre Dame.

After graduation, Allison moved to Dallas, TX and Jordan moved to Charlotte, NC for work. They spent the year traveling to and from Dallas and Charlotte for short weekends together (huge shoutout to American Airlines for enabling our long-distance relationship).

After spending a year in Dallas, Allison moved to Charlotte in 2018. Allison and Jordan have loved growing together in Charlotte, taking road trips to Kiawah and Pittsburgh to visit the Milo and Walker families, and exploring the beauty of the south!

After over 3 years of friendship and another 3 years of dating, Allison and Jordan knew they were meant to be partners for life. Jordan started organizing the proposal in July 2020. With the help of the Walker and Milo families, Jordan planned a surprise joint-Thanksgiving and arranged the Walkers to trek down from Pittsburgh to Kiawah, SC to surprise Allison. Allison and Jordan tested positive for COVID fourteen days before the planned proposal. With some slight adjustments in timing, Jordan was able to (safely) continue with the plan. Jordan proposed to Allison on a walk in Kiawah on November 25, 2020. When the couple returned to a beautifully-decorated Milo household after the proposal, Allison’s entire family was there to surprise her. Allison and Jordan got to celebrate the engagement and Thanksgiving with both families! Special shoutout to the Walker and Milo sisters for helping with the photos that we will cherish forever!
