Michelle and Alyssa met at Marshall University in 2011. They’ve experienced college, vacations, graduations, heartbreaks, and everything in between, always together. They have years of stories to tell about their “young days” and enjoy reminiscing on trips to DP Dough and the Thirsty Whale. Even though they no longer live in the same city, they are as close as ever. Michelle is Alyssa’s best friend and she couldn’t say I do without her by her side!

Joshua has been Nick’s older brother for 29 years. His life changed for the better the day Nick was born. Nick is not only his little brother but also his best friend. They grew up doing everything together from playing sports to riding bikes and spending time at the pool. Joshua doesn't know where he would be in life if it wasn’t for Nick being by his side. Nick may be his younger brother, but he looks up to him like an older brother.

Rachel and Alyssa met in 2020 and while they are very opposite, opposites attract! Rachel is Alyssa’s soon to be sister-in-law and is married to Joshua’s brother, Nick. While Alyssa may be the “grandma,” she and Rachel enjoy weekends on the lake and coordinating watch parties for Cats games. Rachel is always down for a good time, can be found with a deck of cards in her hand and doesn’t go anywhere without her speaker.

Aaron has been Joshua's baby brother for 24 years. There may be a big age gap, but that doesn’t take away from how close they are. From playing video games and drawing up football plays, they have always done things together and shared similar interests. No matter how far away he lives, Aaron will always be Joshua's best friend/little brother and someone he can always call to talk about sports/life with.

Katie and Alyssa met in 2018 when Alyssa’s brother, Alex, finally got the nerve to introduce his girlfriend to the family. Katie is Alyssa’s sister-in-law and she couldn’t have hand picked a better girl for her brother. Katie and Alyssa both enjoy reading, laying by the pool and giving Alex a hard time. Katie is Alyssa’s biggest supporter and they’ll always be the closest of friends.

Most people meet their best friends at school, on a sports team or through mutual friends. Seldom do you live right next to them forever. Joshua and Dillon met when Joshua's family moved into their house in 1995. They grew up together, playing sports and enjoying summers in his pool. Dillon is Joshua's best friend and besides Nick and Aaron, he is the closest thing to a brother.

Devon is Joshua’s brother Aaron’s girlfriend and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone around her is having a good time. Alyssa & Devon have been friends for four years and have had many lake adventures, theme parties (coordinated by Devon) and great times. Devon is a travel nurse and a dog mom to Alyssa’s fur niece, Sundae. Alyssa can’t wait for all of the adventures her and Devon have to come!

Jake and Joshua met during high school baseball tryouts, when they became throwing partners and best friends. Joshua didn't know anyone else at school and the two became friends instantly and have maintained their friendship for over 10 years! Joshua was able to introduce Jake to his friend group and he has fit in ever since! Jake has a great personality, he's fun to be around and he will always make you laugh!

Sam has been Alyssa’s best friend since the two were in fifth grade (going on 20 years!) and they haven’t let different states and many miles change their relationship. Sam is incredibly caring (a mom of 3 and a nurse), enjoys a good country music concert and can outshop anyone that is in her way. Having a friend from elementary school is rare and Alyssa is SO appreciative for Sam's caring nature, her advice and their years of memories!

TJ & Joshua became friends in high school and their friendship hasn't changed as the years have passed. From hanging out at TJ's parent’s pool, playing cornhole in his garage, playing sports and going to the lake, they always have a great time together. They've spent many years of their friendship living in different cities, but that hasn't stopped them from catching up weekly and talking about life, sports and their fantasy football lineup for the upcoming week.

Lauren and Alyssa became the best of friends during their freshman year of high school in 2009. Lauren and Alyssa spent many of their high school days talking about Bertha the nun, drinking Sunny D, pretending to drive and visiting the Parkersburg Captain D’s. The two didn’t let going to different colleges or moving to different states change their friendship and they can't wait for it to continue to grow.

Chris moved across the street from Joshua when he was three years old and the two have been friends longer than they can remember! Growing up, Joshua, Chris, Dillon, Nick did everything together and would usually meet out in their front yards and would play outside until it was dark. Even though Chris lives in California, they stay in touch and maintain their friendship.

Alyssa and Krista met in journalism school in 2011. They bonded during WOW week (orientation) and lived in dorm rooms beside each other. They spent four years studying, stressing and having the best time. Even though they live 2000 miles apart now, they still keep in touch (thankful for FaceTime) and reminisce on their times in college (Go Herd!), while talking about their futures and what's to come.

Andrew has been one of Joshua's best friends for as long as he can remember. They spent every day after school playing outside and growing up together. Even though they disagree on their sports teams (Go Cats!) they are still great friends and enjoy golfing together on their days off work. Andrew and Joshua have been friends through every walk of life and they are grateful for their memories together.

When Alyssa took a job at Golden Corral in 2012, she didn’t realize she would also be gaining a wonderful friend. Brittany and Alyssa were both cashiers at everyone’s favorite buffet and have been friends since. Brittany owns a clothing boutique near Raleigh, North Carolina and is the best mom to her son, Jude. Even with her busy schedule, she makes time to keep a ten-year friendship a priority!

Earl (Cory) lived on the same dorm floor as Joshua during their freshman and sophomore years. Throughout college they played intramural sports together . After college, Earl moved away and the two lost touch until 2020. In 2020, Joshua and Alyssa frequently went on double dates with Earl and his wife, Katelin. Joshua is truly appreciative of the friendship they have that has grown so much in recent years.

Melissa and Alyssa met at Marshall University in 2011 and were roommates for three years. “Mother Melissa,” has went above and beyond to be the greatest friend to Alyssa, from curling her hair to making fast food stops at all hours of the night during their college years. Alyssa’s friendship with Melissa has been separated by 500 miles but is as strong as ever.

Sofie and Alyssa met during their senior capstone class at Marshall University in 2014. The two (complete with their Type A personalities) made quite a pair and were fast friends. They've had their share of adventures, McDonalds French fries, margaritas and vent sessions over the years. Alyssa is incredibly thankful for Sofie's friendship and that she is only a phone call away, while she soaks up the Florida sunshine.

Alyssa is Addison's godmother and the daughter of Melissa, Alyssa's college roommate. Addison wears her UK Wildcats shirt proudly, loves to FaceTime Aunt Alyssa and keeps her mom on her toes!

Macy is Joshua's best friend Dillon's daughter and has been in both Joshua & Alyssa's lives since she was born. Macy is the sweetest girl who knows how to win you over with her grin and the sweetest giggle!

Jude is Alyssa's best friend Brittany's son who will win you over with his smile and sweet personality. Jude loves trucks, his trampoline and making everyone around him laugh.
