Attire is "cocktail," so think one step below formal. The event is outside during the peak of summer, so we want you to be comfortable! We recommend wearing something comfortable and breathable. Also, in order to get from your car to the ceremony site, you will need to pass over some gravel road and grass, so ladies, we recommend a chunky heel or wedges, or even flats or sandals so that your heels don't sink into the ground! Please dress comfortably so you can have the most fun.
Can I bring a date?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list because of budget and venue limitations. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitations.
Where will the ceremony & reception take place?
The ceremony and reception will take place at The Pond at Triplebrook in Blairstown, NJ. The ceremony will be pond front, parking will be directly behind the ceremony site, and the reception will be a short distance across the road in their pavilion.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place in front of the pond. The reception will take place across the way in the open air pavilion. In case of rain, the ceremony and reception will take place under the pavilion, and the canvas siding will come down to protect our guests from inclement weather. Please bring sunscreen and wear comfortable shoes/attire in either case!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony starts at 4:00pm, but we recommend getting there at least 30 minutes early in order to get seated and ensure that we can get the ceremony started on time.
What do we do after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures on the campground for about an hour. Guests can head towards the pavilion deck for cocktail hour to enjoy snacks and beverages.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be so missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible by RSVPing "no" so we can plan accordingly.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Triplebrook is a camp ground with cabins on site that are available to rent for the weekend. If you are interested in different accommodations, The Pond at Triplebrook has several local recommendations under "Local Services." We added some local options as well under "Travel" on our website.
Are we sponsored by Upward?
Not yet, but we plan on offering to be representatives ASAP assuming they meet our contract demands.
